Instagram Picture Manager – Get Picture ID of a Photo

Some tools or software for Instagram require you to use a picture ID rather than the actual photo. It’s a bit tricky to get the picture ID, because it’s not displayed anything on the website visible for the user. Therefore I decided to create this software to help people find picture ID of a photo easier and a lot faster — supporting multiple pictures at once!

This software doesn’t use the API of Instagram, therefore there are no limits to how many photos you can check daily. You can also export the full details or only the picture IDs.

Instagram Picture Manager

– Import multiple pictures and grab their ID.
– Export full data (username, user ID, picture ID, caption)
– Export media ID (only media ID)

How to use

1. Click “File” > “Import”.
2. Load a .txt file with URLs of pictures. (Example input I used)
3. Wait until the program is finished.
4. You can export the full data or only media IDs in .CSV or .TXT format.
5. You can also copy a specific data from the table itself, by double clicking on it.

  1. Hi Risto!

Is there a way to scrape users who liked/commented a picture beside Followliker scraper?

I’m having a hard time scraping this users

    1. Hi,

You can use the public API to scrape users who liked/commented. But keep in mind that Instagram has limited the amount of users you can see, which is 120 for likes and probably similar for comments as well.

      Best regards,

      1. Thanks Risto! I just did few test & I managed to get the response from IG api, but I’m not such a programmer, like to make it an array/list of usernames & all the stuff needed to import this scraped data into FL or any other bot, but I know where to start atleast

FLiker is supposed to do this but I’m having problems with this feature, it keeps searching for comments but not throwing any results, it works for a while then no results after 300~ users scraped

        1. Hi,

Unfortunately, FollowLiker is not the best with scraping users who liked/commented on photos. I’ve used this feature in the past and I had the exact problem, which I believe has to do with FollowLiker. I was constantly updating the list of photos to scrape from but after some time it became annoying and very time consuming as I had more and more accounts, so I decided to use another technique for scraping users.

          Best regards,

          1. Hi Risto,

Awesome Software! But which other software/technique did you use to scrape the users who liked photos then?

            Thanks a lot,

          2. Hi Lukas,

There’s many software to do that, such as FollowLiker, MassPlanner and so on.

            Best regards,

  2. Hi Risto,

I only have Mac computers, is there anyway I can get this software?

I am really only after 12 photos where I need the media ID.

    1. Hi Griff,

This software is only for Windows operating systems. If you need the ID of only 12 photos, you could mail me the photos or post them here and I’ll send you the IDs.

      Best regards,
